The Lightbox
Harold Offeh’s exhibition The Lounge at The Lightbox in Woking ran from 26 October 2024 to 19 January 2025. This immersive, site-specific installation delved into the concept of “home”.For this exhibition I was contacted to produce bespoke benches and custom screens, utilising provided fabrics. We were able to advise on materials and design best for durable exhibition furniture whilst achieving the artist’s vision, all within a short lead time. The exhibition was complemented by a series of interactive events.
Through these events and the installation itself, The Lounge invited visitors to reflect on the idea of home, the architecture of domestic space.

Barbican
The Barbican Centre’s Our Street: The Curve Takeover was a vibrant, interactive exhibition held from August 1st to 23nd, 2024, transforming The Curve gallery into an imaginative London street designed for play and community engagement. This free, family-friendly installation invited visitors to explore a whimsical avenue filled with classic games like hopscotch, hula-hooping, board games, and crafting activities, encouraging creativity and social interaction among all ages.Developed by West Port Architects in collaboration with local schoolchildren and artists, the space featured immersive designs, with YNH as the main set fabrication and installation service.
Garden Museum
The Garden Museum’s exhibition Gardening Bohemia: Bloomsbury Women Outdoors, held from 15 May to 29 September 2024, was the first to explore the gardens of the Bloomsbury Group.
Curated by Dr. Claudia Tobin, the exhibition showcased how these gardens were not merely decorative spaces but integral to the women’s creative and personal lives. Through photographs, paintings, textiles, books, and correspondence—many displayed publicly for the first time—the exhibition highlighted how these gardens served as sanctuaries and experimental spaces during times of personal and national crises. They allowed for the redefinition of ideas about creativity, domesticity, nature, sexuality, and relationships.
YNH built and installed, custom made setworks to suit the space, using materials and designs for reuse. Sustainability is a focus for our clients and we offer a wide knowledge of options for environmental benefits.

Gathering
Wynnie Mynerva- 5 Warwick StreetMy Weaponised Body (4 October – 9 November 2024)In this deeply personal exhibition, Mynerva explored the body as both a site of vulnerability and resistance, informed by their experience living with HIV. The works challenged societal stigmas and examined how illness narratives are constructed and internalized.Mynerva’s work in this exhibition emphasized the interconnectedness of bodies and societal systems, highlighting how personal experiences of illness are often laden with external meanings and judgments. As part of my ongoing work transforming gallery spaces, I cut into the wall to reveal the metal studwork beneath—exposing the structure typically hidden behind a finished surface.
